My name is Robin Dudley, I retired in 2006 after 30 years with the Ministry of Defence Police as a Sergeant. Previous to that I spent 14 years with the RAF as a telegraphist. (signals). I have one son and one daughter both over 40 years old and a grandchild coming up to 20, a girl. Chloe. I am on my second marriage, so maybe I will get it right this time round, who knows. During my work career I taught myself to programme and build computers with the last few years working on IT projects for the force building them a data collection system in Excel (along with colleagues Roger Jewell and Charlie Brown) and previous to that I wrote a command and control system in Borland Delphi 4, that was in use for 6 years in central London until a national system was purchased. Since my retirement I have started to write and record music on my computer. Iived in China with my second wife Rose, in the city of Shenzhen, Nr Hong Kong. from 2006 till my return to the UK in 2015 where I now live.

I now gig in and around the local area at open mic nights and some of the acoustic folk nights playing 99% my own original songs, that have so far gone well, not been thrown out or boo'd lol. This is something that I really like doing and get enough compliments to make me believe I should keep going and its always nice when you get asked to go back.
